Learn More About The InstaRisa Scanner And How It Improves Your Treatment
At Rivercrest Family Dental, we are always looking for ways to improve the care and experience we provide to our patients. Our goal is always to restore the function and aesthetics of our patients’ teeth so that they are proud to show them off and can live a better quality of life. One way we do this is through the technology we use in the office. With the advancements in dental technology over the years, we have been able to save time on treatments, reduce discomfort for patients, and complete involved treatments more accurately. We have recently added to the technology we have in our office.
InstaRisa Scanner
The InstaRisa scanner is revolutionary because it uses a series of image scans of your face combined with digital imagery from inside the mouth to create custom dental restorations. This method allows our team to create a product that will provide a perfect fit as well as look like natural teeth and gums. We use this technology to help create and perfect the dentures and implants we provide to patients.
Click above to watch a short video that shows the InstaRisa scanner in action. As you can see in the video, the first step in using the scanner is to take digital images of the head, face, and mouth from a sitting position. The second step is to scan the inside of the mouth with a wand, which immediately sends the images to a screen to ensure the right ones are being received. The images are then viewed on a touchscreen, where they can be moved to see various angles of the mouth. You can also view the updated digital images, which include a rendering of what your new teeth and smile will look like. As you can see at the end of the video, the final results are beautiful.
